Warrenpoint Town bounced back from last week's heavy defeat to get the better of Portadown at Shamrock Park.
Portadown enjoyed the better of the early exchanges with Sam Warde and Lee Bonis both producing stops from 'Point keeper Gabriel Sava.
The Ports came closer on 25 minutes after Stephen Teggart struck an upright before Bonis was denied from the edge of the box as he attempted to convert the rebound.
Ben Tilney then saw an effort turned away by Sava before, at the other end, Jacob Carney was alert to gather a Brandon Doyle shot on the turn.
Portadown had one last chance before the break through Ben Guy but his first time cushioned shot was gathered again by Sava.
Warrenpoint had the better opportunities in the second half with Steven Ball having a go from a tight angle and Kealan Dillon and Colm Deasy testing Carney.
And 'Point moved in front on 65 minutes after Fra McCaffrey provided the through ball for Brandon Doyle to send the finish under the Ports keeper.
Barry Gray's side had a great chance to extend their lead when Doyle played Ryan Swan through but Carney rushed out to make the save.
But that second, crucial goal did arrive with six minutes remaining after Deasy beat Chris Lavery to send over the cross for a stooping Swan to beat Carney with a header at the near post.
