Warrenpoint Town and Dungannon Swifts battled to a share of the spoils at Milltown.
A quiet first half produced few notable efforts in front of goal although Calum Byers came close early on with a header onto the roof of the net from Michael Carvill's free-kick.
At the other end midway through the half Adam Evans delivered a dangerous cross from the left which came off the post before, on the half-hour mark, James Convie worked his way into the box to test Gabriel Sava with no-one available to make the most of the loose ball.
The deadlock was broken in Dungannon's favour just before the hour. Carvill darted down the left before crossing for Rhyss Campbell who ran onto the ball to direct it past Sava.
However, 'Point levelled ten minutes later with a superb strike from substitute Thomas Maguire after he connected with a throw-in that had been flicked on and, with his back to goal, he turned the ball over Roy Carroll and into the top corner.
Both sides pushed hard to gain in the upper hand in the frantic closing stages to the game but despite chances at either end no more goals were forthcoming.
