Two goals midway through the first half helped Warrenpoint Town to a first ever league victory at Seaview over Crusaders.
After a quiet start to the game the Crues almost moved in front on 25 minutes when Paul Heatley sent a looping header towards but keeper Andy Coleman did well to tip it onto the bar as well as saving the follow up.
Warrenpoint moved in front soon after a corner from the right was flicked on for Ryan Swan who responded with a superb volley into the roof of the net from 12 yards.
Then, on 34 minutes, Brandon Doyle added a second for the visitors after running onto Kealan Dillon's through ball and dinking the finish over the onrushing Jonny Tuffey.
Crusaders came within a whisker of pulling one back moments into the second half when Chris Hegarty saw a header kept out by Coleman from just under the crossbar while Jordan Owens' follow up was cleared off the line by Swan.
Hegarty had another chance as the game progressed but could only look on as his effort went inches wide of an upright.
But Warrenpoint, with a combination of determination and a slice of good fortune, held on to secure the victory.
