NEWRY GRAB LAST GASP WINNER
Newry City avenged Friday's defeat to Ballymena United by grabbing a stoppage time winner when the sides met again a few days later.
It looked like there'd be a repeat showing when the Sky Blues raced into the lead as early as the seventh minute when Kym Nelson nodded home Mikey Place's corner.
But Newry levelled with just over a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock courtesy of Noel Healy's well struck left foot effort past Sean O'Neill.
Nelson might have restored Ballymena's lead soon after only to strike the ball against the outside of the post but, on 36 minutes, City edged in front for the first time when Daniel Hughes followed up on the rebound after initially seeing a spot-kick - awarded after he had been fouled by Jack Henderson - saved by O'Neill.
That was how it stayed until 76 minutes after substitute Ryan Waide levelled for the visitors after connecting with a cross at the back post.
However, Newry sealed their win in stoppage time. A great cross from Hughes reached Brian Healy inside the box and he responded by rifling the ball in off the underside of the bar.
