A lively and physical encounter at Midgley Park saw Linfield Women and Sion Swifts Ladies share the spoils in an entertaining draw.
Sion started strongly and pushed for the opening goal throughout, coming close just after the half-hour mark when a long range effort from Lauren Haynes came back off the crossbar.
Haynes wasn't to be denied just five minutes after that, however, when she found the net following a goalmouth scramble from a corner.
Linfield responded positively to level right on the stroke of half-time when Keri Halliday beat keeper Jennifer Currie to the ball to find the net.
The second half continued in the same vein with both teams having chances to go ahead, although neither were able to apply any sustained pressure.
Just when it seemed like the game would fizzle out, Ashley Hutton made a goalline clearance at the beginning of added time.
Then, eight minutes into stoppage time, Sion were awarded a spot-kick but Kelly Crompton could only strike the base of an upright.
