Ballinamallard United boss Harry McConkey saw his side pick up their first point of the season
ALL SQUARE ALL ROUND AT FERNEY
It was honours even at Ferney Park as Ballinamallard United and Dergview shared the goals, points and red cards!
With the game scoreless the Mallards were first to suffer a dismissal when Alex Holder saw red for a push on Niall McGinley after 27 minutes.
And it was McGinley himself who then edged the visitors in front just a few minutes later with a volley past the experienced John Connolly.
Ballinamallard might have levelled when BJ Banda struck an upright with a low shot following a good build up, before it became a 10-a-side after Jamie Browne was sent-off for a shove on Ryan Morrow.
As per the first red, a goal quickly followed when Banda crossed and Christopher Kelly turned home the equaliser.
The sides traded chances after the break with McGinley and Banda having efforts at either end, while Joshua McIlwaine came close and Aaron Arkinson saved the day with a well timed intervention.
