Dundela twice took the lead away to Ballinamallard United but, in the end, Colin Nixon's side had to settle for a point from their visit to Ferney Park.
The Duns moved in front midway through the first half through a spot-kick successfully converted by Owain Beggs but the Mallards levelled through BJ Banda later in the half.
Indeed, the home side could have led at the break but saw one effort well saved, another strike the crossbar and a further chance smothered by the visiting keeper.
Harry McConkey's side came to rue those missed opportunities just before the hour when Beggs knocked home Dundela's second of the evening.
However, the Mallards might have levelled for a second time a few minutes after that but Banda was thwarted again by Marc Matthews.
But it wasn't long before they did equalise again when veteran striker Jason McCartney fired home the second penalty of the evening.
Both sides had opportunities to claim the win with each defence clearing efforts off the line but, in the end, each camp had to settle for a point.
