Two first half goals helped Ards move back into second place in the Lough 41 Championship with victory over bottom of the table Dundela.
Ards moved in front on 21 minutes. Dundela's Tony Kane came close with a free-kick from around 25 yards from goal which home keeper Brian Neeson punched away from the right post from which Ards swept forward with Patrick Cafolla finding Kym Nelson bursting into the area to fire low past Marc Matthews.
Ross Arthurs made it 2-0 on the stroke of half-time. Craig McMillen did well to keep the ball in play in the left corner before crossing into the area for Conall Young and Calvin McCurry to have a go before Ross Arthurs came rushing in at the left post to blast home.
After the break Dundela pushed to try and get back into the game with Owain Beggs just failing to head home at the near post after David McMaster had sent the ball over from the right.
Eoin Kane then had an effort from the edge of the area but Neeson got down low to save
Arthurs might have doubled his tally later in the game only to strike the underside of the bar from well outside the area with Daniel Reynolds only being able to nod the rebound over from close range.
