McILWAINE AT THE DOUBLE FOR MALLARDS
A Joshua McIlwaine double helped Ballinamallard United come from behind to defeat Dundela at Wilgar Park.
Owain Beggs had fired the Duns in front as early as the ninth minute with a left foot finish from the edge of the six yard box but McIlwaine levelled for the Mallards midway through the first half from just inside the area after Christopher Kelly had laid the ball off.
That was how it stayed until substitute Reece Byrne edged the Mallards into the lead on 71 minutes with an effort in off the underside of the bar before McIlwaine, who had provided the ball for Byrne's finish, made sure of the points a few minutes after that with a low finish from the right side of the area after connecting with a long punt forward.
