SUPERSUB EDGAR ON TARGET FOR MALLARDS
John Edgar came off the bench to bag the winner as Ballinamallard United defeated Ards at Ferney Park.
The Mallards had the ball in the net with around a quarter-of-an-hour on the clock, but Patrick Ferry's finish was ruled offside.
Then, after the break, Peter Maguire hit the crossbar for the home side before, on 77 minutes and only six minutes after replacing Peter Campbell, Edgar popped up to turn home what proved to be the only goal of the game.
