Ballymena United and Larne shared the points in the Saturday evening streamed game from The Showgrounds.
Johnny McMurray might have opened the scoring for Larne inside the opening ten minutes but his goalbound effort was blocked by Andy McGrory.
At the other end Jude Winchester had a go from distance only for the ball to go over the top.
Ballymena edged in front on 35 minutes. McGrory sent in a great cross from the right which Larne defender Albert Watson could only turn into his own net whilst attempting to clear as Paul McElroy was poised to pounce.
Larne could have levelled either side of the break. David McDaid laid the ball off to Dean Jarvis inside the box but he fired narrowly wide at the near post while, straight from the restart, Andy Mitchell tried to lob Jordan Williamson from the centre spot only for the ball to land on the roof of the net.
The sides traded chances as the second half progressed, McElroy stung the palms of Conor Devlin while Lee Lynch tested Williamson with a half volley.
But Larne did level on 68 minutes courtesy of Ronan Hale's composed finish from 12 yards after Tomas Cosgrove found him with a sublime through ball.
Shay McCartan could have restored Ballymena's lead a few minutes later following a great run into the area only to fire just over from 15 yards.
Larne had a chance at the other end a short time after that, Hale crossing for McDaid who just failed to make contact followed by a Lynch effort that was deflected over.
