Ballymena United hit three goals without reply past Warrenpoint Town at The Showgrounds to keep their hopes of a European play-off place alive.
The Sky Blues got off to a bright start, coming close early on when Shay McCartan almost sent a dipping effort from outside the area into the net while, soon after, he was denied by an acrobatic stop from Andy Coleman from a free-kick.
Despite this promising opening it took the Sky Blues until the 37th minute to open the scoring with McCartan finally finding the net after the ball fell for him from Trai Hume's right-sided cross.
Then, seven minutes after that, Paul McElroy headed home a second after Hume knocked on a Ross Redman corner with an overhead kick.
United's third came with a quarter-of-an-hour remaining courtesy of Leroy Millar with a thumping left-foot effort past Andy Coleman to put the game beyond doubt.
